About the Role
Start date: As soon as possible
Location: 1147 Blvd. Dr. Camille Marcoux, Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon
Schedule: Flexible shifts available ( 4 hours, 8 hours, mornings, days, evenings, weekends)
Full time - 1 position
Part time - 2 positions
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks in accordance with customer preferences;
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment;
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, serving soups, etc;
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace;
- Take customer orders and handle transactions accurately;
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner;
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of all beverages & meals served;
- General tasks (inventory, ordering, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is an asset;
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and order processing, point-of-sale knowledge;
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently;
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers;
- Knowledge of food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
