CFBS RADIO BLANC-SABLON
SUMMER STUDENT
Full-Time, 35 hours/week for 8 weeks
About Us:
89.9, 93.1 & 105.3 CFBS FM is Blanc-Sablon’s community radio station, connecting residents through news, music and entertainment. We are passionate about building community and supporting local organizations.
Position Summary:
Step into a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience in media and communications,
-all while leaving your mark on your community.
Job Tasks
-Engage directly with the public through radio hosting
-Help produce ads
-Record ads for advertisers
-Conduct interviews, if needed
-Assist with weekly bingo
Responsibilities
-Must be able to work without direct supervision.
-Must be dependable.
Qualifications
-Knowledge of computer software Microsoft and Internet skills
-Energetic, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams
-Good communication skills
-Knowledge of English and French would be an advantage.
