LOCAL NEWS - AUGUST 19, 2021 - Maison Mecatina welcomes seniors to fill out an application to become a resident
On July 2nd, Maison Mecatina opened it’s doors for community members to take a tour of the new senior facility in La Tabatiere, and now they are ready for applications to be filled. This new senior’s home means that more aging residents will be able to stay in their community, as apposed to having to leave for housing services in other communities of the Lower North Shore.
This new facility has 8 bedrooms (7 single rooms and 1 double room) and boasts many comforts that residents will surely enjoy! The home has an amazing view of the saltwater and is located right on the main road. Home cooked meals provided 3 times daily, plus snacks and baked goods, there will also be fun activities for the residents to participate in. Depending on the needs and autonomy of the residents, Maison Mecatina will base the living arrangements on the specific needs of the clients.
