Municipality: Blanc-Sablon Polling day: November 2nd 2025
By this public notice, Karine Benoit, returning officer, announces the following to the electors of the municipality.
Following seats are open for candidates
Mayor seat
Seats of councillor 1 through 6
Any nomination papers must be filed at the office of the returning office or the secretary designated to receive nomination papers, where applicable on the following days and times.
From: September 19th 2025 to October 3rd 2025
Monday through Friday – 8:30am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:30pm
Important: On Friday, October 3rd, the office will be open continuously from 9:00am to 4:30pm
If more than one person wishes to be a candidate for the same seat, you may exercise your voting rights by going to the assigned polling station on the following dates and hours.
Polling day: Sunday, November 2nd from 10:00am to 8:00pm
Advance polling day: Sunday, October 26th from noon to 8:00pm
If you are unable to move about for health and are registered on the list of electors as a domiciled person, you may ask your returning officer until October 17th to vote in your room located in a recognized health care facility or in your home. The same applies to your caregiver.
