The Music of the Songs of Love Foundation

NEWS - JULY 14, 2020 - THE SONGS OF LOVE FOUNDATION SPREADS JOY TO CHILDREN WITH PERSONALIZED SONGS DURING HEALTH OR LIFE CHALLENGES ONE SONG AT A TIME

​In April of 2018, I had the pleasure of meeting a lady named Heidi at the Give Kids the World Village resort in Kissimmee, Florida, during our daughter's Make A Wish trip to Disney World. Our 8 year old daughter, Khloe, was born with special needs as well as a rare epilepsy syndrome called HHE, which has contributed to many health complications. Heidi was at Give Kids the World on behalf of The Songs of Love Foundation, anonprofit organization that creates free, personalized, original songs to uplift children and teens currently facing tough medical, physical or emotional challenges.

The talented team was kind enough to create for our Khloe a beautiful personalized song, this song has and continues to make her smile, laugh, clap, and dance with joy each time that we have played it for her. It has been a magical experience, one that has meant a lot to us, and will forever be cherished as a part of our journey. We were lucky to have received a second song this year just in time for her 8th birthday, which was super special to us. Each “song of love” is professionally produced with lyrics containing the child’s name and references to all of his or her favorite activities, things, people, and pets. Songs are written and performed in any language in the musical style that the child likes best (kids, pop, R&B, rap, rock, alternative, etc.), by many talented singer/songwriters.

With many personal thanks to The Songs of Love Foundation, and special thanks to the songwriters: Rebecca, Marti, Nicole and Julia as well as to the orchestra leaders: Lee and Toby Cooperman.
