LOCAL NEWS - JUNE 17, 2021: BLANC-SABLON – Trying out something new with the accordion
From his early beginning playing the organ at local churches in the region, Davey Jones quickly discovered that he loved music. Growing up he heard his father play the accordion at home, and soon he was also playing the instrument for family and friends, later releasing albums of his talent.
CFBS had the pleasure of speaking today with Davey Jones, originally from Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon but now living in Port Au Choix, NL, about his music career and new musical projects. Besides for the traditional style of playing the accordion, Davey has found a fresh new way to enjoy this instrument, by mixing it with techno music!
